Haunted House

Aloha Everyone,

I wanted to share with you my Haunted House that I made for some Halloween Decorations!

This is cut from the Cricut Happy Hauntings Cartridge. I cut it on the large 12 x 24 paper, so it was cut at 10 1/2 inches. I embossed everything to add texture and a more real feel.

It was fun and my kids were pretty impressed!

Scrappy Moms Stamps- Terrific Tuesday Challenge!

Aloha Everyone,

I have been missing from the blogging world, and miss being here. I had a crazy last couple of weeks with broken cars, and things that have occupied my days, that are not fun. Anyway!

I wanted to share my project that I made for the Scrappy Moms Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge. Stop by Scrappy Moms Stamps and see all the other awesome projects! The challenge was to use the Mini Monster cartridge. I bought it last year and this is the first time I am using it. I have loved it, but didn't have enough time to play with it last year. I was so excited for this challenge because it gave me a heads up on Halloween.

I cut out pretty much all of the monsters from the handbook. I attached tooth picks on the backs of them so I can use them for adorable cupcakes decorations for a Halloween party. I cut the monsters at 2 1/2 inches. I added stickles, and some of them I used goggly eyes.

I wanted to make cupcakes and show them off, but just couldn't get around to it, so please use your imagination!!!

I Heart Faces!

I am entering my son's Football picture at I Heart Faces photo challenge.

He didn't take a picutre with his team on picture day and I was so upset.

He said "no worries momma, I will bring home my gear and you can take pics". I am glad we did and I think he loved how they came out.

Aloha Everyone,

This post is about sewing. I love to sew and I am just a beginner. I would love to learn how to be a master seamstress. I can dream though!!!

A friend of ours just had their little baby girl and I wanted to make something homemade as their baby gift.

So I came up with this...

My daughter loves her silky blanket that she has had for the past 7 years (shhh.. don't tell anyone). So I made this blanket, my daughter commented that blanket is bigger than mine. Then I made a stack of flannel burp clothes. I wanted to add something else so I decided to make a toy. This is from the DIY Sisters and it is a pin cushion, but who could put a pin in these adorable owls. Here is the link if interested!

I sent the top picture owl to my friend and have 2 more at home. They were a lot of fun and easy to make.

Hawaii Theme Bog Hop!!!

Aloha Everyone,

Welcome to the fabulous Nicolette's Hawaii Theme Blog Hop!

I am so excited to share with everyone what I had made.

My children love drinking out straws, so I decided to add a little bling to them.

I used the Cricut Preserves cartridge and cut out the adorable Pineapple. I added some dimension and stacked them with fun colors and cut 2 slits in the back to slip the straw through.

I think it is a fun way to celebrate summer.

Long time no see!

Aloha Everyone,

Oh wow! It's been a long time since I blogged.

Today I have a project that was cut from SVGcuts.com. (Click on the upper right top corner to be directed to their site).

They are an awesome company and they have great svg files. They also have many free files. So go check them out.

This is a Wedding theme project.

I used the Crush on you boxes file for the adorable take out box.

The 3D Mums and Fall flower kit was used for the beautiful flower,

and the I do was a free cut file.

I embossed the take out box panels so it added some dimension.

I also embossed the the many different layers to add more dimension.

Scrapbook layout

Aloha Everyone,

Summer has been very busy with my awesome children home!

Here is my recipe:

* Gypsy to to cut the circles, Accent Essentials cut at 3.00 for the outside and 2.65 for the inside circle,

* Smaller circles cut at 2.41 for the outside and 2.13 for the inside circle, and

*Smallest circles cit at 2.14 for the outside and 1.89 for the inside

*I used some of the middle circles for journaling blocks.

*Photo mats were made with Gypsy Wanderings cut at 4.00 for the outside, and 3.75 for the inside.

* My Pink Stamper's Family & Friends stamp set.

*Doodling with my white pen!

**I forgot to add my flower. Here is 2 pictures with the flower and the other pictures don't have a flower. I think it looks much cuter with the flower.

Aloha Everyone,

Happy Father's Day to all the men!

Things have been busy with summer, and Father's Day came fast.

I wanted to share just a few things we were making for my hubby.

I made the adorable tie box from SVG cuts using the All About Dad Kit File. I really had fun making it and it was so easy.

In one box we loaded it with candy, and the other one has three stamped washers that we turned into a key chain. My 3 daughters chose what they wanted to say and I stamped it for them. I didn't take a picture of the key chain but here is an example of the stamped washers HERE.

I also made a card from the SVG cuts with the shirt and tie card, but since my hubby isn't a tie guy I made it into a regular shirt.

This is the card I made, I did personalize it up a bit with some doodling, and I added his work logo on the front, but I did forget to take a picture.

I wanted to take a picture of all 3 things I made but my camera wanted to focus on my outside palms instead. So you get to see my blurry project. LoL!
