Cards for a Swap

Aloha,

I wanted to share some cards that I made for a card swap that I just participated in. I really had fun making them and getting some cards in return. I will post a picture of the cards that I receive when I get them all.

I wanted to know if anyone is interested in a swap for the youth. My daughter really wants to have a swap for her age group. Age 8 and up. Or just participate in a swap if people don't mind receiving a card from a 10 1/2 year old. She tried to have one at school. She enlisted about 10 girls, but they just ripped out some binder paper and drew or wrote something on it and quickly handed it to her. This was after she worked really hard all week long making these cards for them. She felt cheated, but I did tell her that everyone may not know how to make a nice card with card stock and to not hold it against them. She tried a few more times after explaining how to make one, then she gave up and is now begging me to post about having a card swap for youth.

I hope everyone is doing well and in good health. I have not posted anything in so long I almost forgot how.

I am sorry for being MIA.

The whole Feb. my whole house got sick, and in March spring break came along and my mom came to visit. I thought I would have more time crafting but that was not the case.

I have had 2 birthdays and another one this weekend.

We have been busy having sleep overs and party projects.

Life can sure get busy!!! But, I do love it.

Now on to my project it is my Design Team project for Crop Chocolate. I love that store. Check it out, it can be addicting.

I used Basic Grey Paper in Ambrosia, and BoBunny Wraps from Gabrielle.

I made the flower using the Cricut Mother's Day Bouquet.

The butterfly was cut using my Gypsy and the Cricut Indie Art butterfly. It was stretched.

Valentine School Treats!

Aloha Everyone,

I have been MIA because Myself and my whole family has caught the flu. My first kid was sick from Tuesday, then on Thursday I had 2 more, then the baby woke up from a nap sick:( Then on Friday I got sick and another kid got sick. Then on Saturday we were all sick. Keep in mind my hubby has been sick too:( All you hear in my house is cough, cough, sniff, mom I don't feel good.... So today on Sunday I only have 1 better. Hope this goes away soon.

I just wanted to share my Valentine's Treat for the kids school. Only 3 of them are bringing treats. I decided to keep it simple. I cut tags from the Sweethearts Cartridge. I stamped and embossed the tags with Lauren's adorable Love stamp set from 40:31 Creations.

Terrific Tuesday Challenge - SWEETHEARTS!

Here is my project for Scrappy Mom Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge. Tuesday's challenge was to use the Sweethearts cartridge, (which I just received on Friday). Really cute cartridge!

I also just received on Friday my set of Love Stamps from Lauren at 40:31 Creations. If you have not seen her new line of stamps you so need to, they are very cute and she has some for all occasions.

Recipe

* Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge cut the Shape @ 4.70 Width & 3.22 Height

*The white heart is the middle of a cut that I cut @ 1.50 Width & 1.42 Height

* The other hearts are cut @ 3.94 Width & 2.14 Height there were many of them but I only used a few.

* Red string

*Cute mini clothes pins

*Signo white pen

*I used my Gypsy and welded the heart border together from

the Love Struck 2010 Cartridge cut @ 11.50 height, & 4.99 width

*Lacy Labels Lite Cartridge cut the outside photo mats @ 5.22 height, & 5.68 width

inside mat used the shift key, cut @ 5.22 height, & 5.42 width

*Create a Critter Cartridge

I (heart) U cut @ 2.72 height, & 4.90 width

Heart shape journal tag cut @ 3.00 height, & 3.79 width

*Paper from Fancy Pants, Metallic Paper from Slice

*Ribbon from Stash.

*Sew on zig zag around layout. ( my favorite part)

Valentine's Paper Globe

Aloha Everyone,

I found this great blog Heather Bailey with awesome directions on how to make paper globes.

I used my cricut and cut out the 20 circles that is needed. Then I used her pattern to make my triangle, and traced it in the middle. Math was not my best subject.

I embossed my stamp image on the dark papers, and used red ink for the white papers.


Here is my finished project. I just adhered the circles any random order, then attached some red ribbon on top and bottom and added a little bling using my jewelry finds.

This turned out to be a pretty big globe. I cut it on the circut at 5 inches. I probably would make my next cut at 3 inches.
